Dance like no-ones watching
Life is so full...and so scary. It can be wonderful, while full of remorse and disappointment in equal measures. but what really matters to us. Our emotions are so fragile and delicate, so much so that one negative response to us can affect us for hours...days. But should we really be interested in other people and their opinion. Whilst sometimes criticism can be constructive and helpful at times, other people can affect our own feelings in ways that we cannot realise. It is true and I stand by my feelings that we are motivated by validation and acceptance by our peers and loved ones, but what about our own feelings? With our time on this Earth so short and so fleeting, should we concerned by what others think? It is true that not everybody has our best intentions at heart and will purposely drag us down out of pure jealousy. The people...no person that you should be most content with pleasing is yourself. The only way to find true happiness and in turn make the people closet to you happy is to please yourself. While this statement may seem selfish, it isn't...not really. Happiness spreads happiness, it is contagious and if you are happy then the people closet to you will feel the joy. So spread your wings and dance like no-ones watching, write like no-ones reading...sing like no-ones listening. Embrace life, because before you know it, its over too soon.
