...I built my dreams around you
Whats funny about life is the way it keeps changing by the ways it effects us. When you're young, you are full of ideals and dreams which are only matched by our enthusiasm and ambition. Then as we grow life changes us in the way we look at things and the way we see the world. Our dreams don't necessarily disappear, they just change to the moment we live in. But, what else changes in our lives...well certainly the people we meet, fall in love with, fall out with, move away, the effects of others around us and as we grow and people dance in and out of our lives we become influenced by others. We marry, have children, we laugh, we cry and all the time our dreams remain with us, but alter slightly to fit in with our life style. We don't lose our dream, just the focus to keep the dream strong as life overtakes us and sometimes it needs the push of someone we love to make us remember what our dreams once were. As a child I held onto a childish dream that one day I would write a book and publish said story. As I grew, I still believed my dream, but other things got in the way...more important things, different priorities. Time tells it always does, and in the end sometimes...just sometimes it needs someone to remind you what your dreams are. There is a fine line between dreaming and making and with support everyone can make their own dream a reality.
