Life is a gift...it's why it's called the present
As the title of this blog says, life IS a gift. It's very easy to become consumed with what has gone or what is to come and very often we can miss what is in front of us all the time. Life is precious and we fill it with people we love and care for. We fill it with things which bring us joy and memories which make us happy, but life can also consume us with grief and regret which cause us to look back. Due to our very nature, we can spend so much time living with regret for people we miss or others we have wronged, reliving moments over and over again until we are consumed by grief. We can also spend so much of our time looking ahead, planning our future, wishing our lives away with plans of holidays, weddings or even small events like weekends, again to the extent that we miss what is in front of us the whole time. We take so much for granted, that we wish our life away or live in regret for what could have been. Life is a gift, it's why it's called the present so live it. Embrace every day for what it is, the best day of your life. Live it to the fullest, live it the best way you can, being grateful for what you have and who you are. Don't live in regret, because if you do, you may miss the very thing which makes your life worth living.
