Where were you...?

When we are young, we think we are unstoppable. There is nothing in life that can stop us from achieving what ever we want. We hold dreams about becoming astronauts, film stars, musicians, sports stars, and there is nothing that can stand in our way. To an extent there lies a certain beautiful innocence to the way children view the world. But...as we grow we realise things aren't black and white, they're sort of multi-coloured. Life isn't as easy as a child sees it, and it can beat you down so hard if you let it. For many things in life, you can't do things by yourself...you need people around you, you need help. As an adult, you are fallible, you aren't perfect, you make mistakes, but with the help of people you love and love you and friends you can be anything you want and do anything you want. All you have to do is admit you need the help and let in the people who can help you...so don't worry if you can't see the wood for the trees, there are people who can help, if you let them.
